Came across a picture of you, fell out of an open book
from a long, long time ago
Now I am a few years older, and I’ve thought just a few years over
but how was I to know?
that I’d be thinking about you lately and how you drove me crazy
and how you tore my world in two
And I know all the reasons baby, but I still keep thinking maybe
Somehow we could have pulled it through

And every time I thought that I couldn’t make it
The angels gave me all the strength that I needed
In time I’ll find somebody who can fill the void left by you
Too much too soon too little too late
And I’ll be closing the door on all the love that we made

One man’s past is another man’s pleasure, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure
the choice don’t come without a price
And there’s a consequence for every decision
I just hope this one was right
Cause I’ve been thinking about you, and how I live without you
and how you tore my world in two
And I know all the reasons, but I keep believing
Somehow we could have pulled it through
